AQUIB celebrates 15 years certified with ISO 9001
On May 7, 2007, AQUIB received AENOR accreditation for the UNE EN ISO 9001 standard, granted by the Spanish Association for Standardization and Certification (AENOR). The event, held at the former headquarters of the Agency on Vía Roma in Palma, was attended, in addition to the Agency staff, by:
- Mr. Francisco J. Fiol Amengual, consejero de Educación y Cultura del Gobierno de las Illes Balears.
- Mrs. Montserrat Casas Ametller, rectora de la Universitat de les Illes Balears.
- Mr. Climent Ramis Noguera, general director of University of the Consejería de Educación y Cultura del Gobierno de las Illes Balears and Agency's president.
- Mrs. Pilar Roca Morey, director of the Balearic Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education.
- Mrs. Eva Subirà Jiménez, director of AENOR delegation in the Balearic Islands.
Since then, the accreditation has been renewed several times, the last being the past 1st of April of 2022. AQUIB's Internal Quality Assurance System is already a consolidated, robust system that works very effectively. The Agency considers it one of the basic pillars of its operation, and for this reason, it takes special care of it, always attentive to any opportunity for improvement.
