Back to face-to-face site visits: the expert panel for the renewal of the accreditation of the degrees of the Faculty of Education of the UIB
After 2 years carrying out virtual visits due to COVID-19, on October 19, 20 and 21, the expert panel made a face-to-face visit to the Degree in Social Education, Degree in Pedagogy, Degree in Early Childhood Education and Degree in Primary Education, as part of the accreditation renewal process. The expert panel was composed with Ms. María Fuensanta H. Pina, professor at the University of Murcia (president), Mr. José Manuel de Amo, tenured professor at the University of Almería (academic member), Ms. Elena Montero, doctoral student at the Complutense University of Madrid (student member) and Dª Lara García (secretary on behalf of AQUIB). The visit took place in the Guillem Cifre de Colonya Building of the UIB and the evaluators met with a representation of the students and professors of the degrees, graduates and employers, the support and services staff (PAS) of the faculty, as well as the dean of the Faculty of Education (D. Miquel F. Oliver Trobat), the vice-deans and heads of studies, and the Vice-rector for Management and Academic Policy of the UIB, Yolanada González Cid.
During these days, the panel received the visit of the Rector of the UIB Jaume Carot, who expressed his commitment to university quality and joy at the return to face-to-face in these processes.
