Publication of the composition of AQUIB’s accreditation committees for permanent teaching staff

The Official Gazette of the Balearic Islands (BOIB) has published Agreements 3/2025 and 4/2025 of the Governing Council of the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education of the Balearic Islands (AQUIB), approved at the meeting held on 26 September 2025.

Agreement 3/2025, published in the BOIB No. 131 on 2 October 2025 (available in Catalan and Spanish), establishes the creation of the evaluation committees responsible for issuing specific reports for the recruitment of permanent teaching staff at the Universitat de les Illes Balears (UIB). These committees are organised into five scientific fields: Arts and Humanities, Sciences, Health Sciences, Social and Legal Sciences, and Engineering and Architecture.

Agreement 4/2025, published in the BOIB No. 132 on 4 October 2025 (available in Catalan and Spanish), makes public the composition of these evaluation committees, made up of teaching and research staff from various universities and research centres. The members will serve for a period of two years, renewable by decision of AQUIB’s Governing Council.

These committees are responsible for ensuring independent, transparent evaluation processes in line with the assessment criteria approved by AQUIB.
