We have completed the evaluation process of the applications submitted under the call issued by the Ministry of Education, Research and Universities on 14 January 2025 for grants to incorporate research personnel into the science, technology, and innovation ecosystem of the Balearic Islands (2024 postdoctoral contracts). The call was managed by the Research and Development Service of the Directorate-General for Universities and Higher Artistic Education.

In March, the Research and Development Service sent us the applications that passed the eligibility phase, and we began the external scientific and technical evaluation, which was concluded on 4 July 2025. Following our protocol, this process involved independent experts from the relevant scientific fields, who assessed the proposals based on the criteria established by the Ministry and issued detailed reports. These reports were sent yesterday to the contracting authority, which will be responsible for awarding the grants.

These evaluations are part of the collaboration agreement between AQUIB and the Ministry of Education and Universities for the external scientific and technical assessment of calls managed by the Research and Development Service of the Directorate-General for Education, Research and Higher Artistic Education.
