This week, we met with the Directorate-General for Health Research, Training and Accreditation of the Government of the Balearic Islands to carry out a meta-evaluation of the assessment process conducted within the call for grants aimed at training predoctoral health researchers (PFIS-CAIB and PFIC-CAIB).

During the meeting, we discussed potential improvements and adjustments to further enhance the evaluation processes in future calls.

At AQUIB, we have begun the evaluation process for the research grant applications submitted to the Directorate-General for Health Research, Training and Accreditation of the Government of the Balearic Islands, following the recent signing of a collaboration agreement between both institutions.

Under this agreement, we are evaluating applications submitted to the training grant programmes for predoctoral health researchers (PFIS-CAIB and PFIC-CAIB), with the aim of contributing to a system for allocating scientific and technical resources based on objectivity, independence, and efficiency.

The agreement was signed by the Minister of Health of the Government of the Balearic Islands, Ms Manuela García Romero, and the President of AQUIB, Dr Sebastià Massanet Massanet. To ensure the quality of the process, we have appointed qualified experts to prepare the evaluation reports.
