Conference "New Scientific Evaluation Methods"
Today, AQUIB joined a prominent conference in Madrid, delving into the latest advancements in scientific evaluation. Organized by the State Research Agency (AEI) in collaboration with “la Caixa” Foundation, the event brought together internationally renowned experts in the field of research.
Featuring an agenda with high-level presentations and roundtable discussions addressing various key aspects of scientific evaluation in today's context. The conference commenced with a warm welcome from Domènec Espriu, Director General of the AEI, and Javier Solana, President of the Scientific Committee of “la Caixa” Foundation. Subsequently, distinguished speakers such as James Wilson, Carla Carbonell, José Manuel Fernández de Labastida, and Carles Sierra shared their knowledge and experiences on innovative methods to enhance research evaluation.
One of the highlights was the roundtable discussion on the role of artificial intelligence in scientific evaluation, moderated by Domènec Espriu and featuring participation from recognized experts in the sector. The event concluded with closing remarks delivered by Elisa Rivera, Director General of Planning, Coordination, and Knowledge Transfer at the Ministry of Science and Innovation.
The active participation of the AQUIB in this conference demonstrates its commitment to continuous improvement in scientific research quality, as well as its keen interest in exploring and adopting new approaches and tools for research evaluation within the university setting in the Balearic Islands.
