AQUIB takes part in ENQA’s General Assembly and 25th Anniversary Celebration in Brussels
From 22 to 24 October 2025, we took part in the ENQA General Assembly (European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education), which this year coincided with the 25th anniversary celebration of the association under the theme ENQA at 25: Shaping the future of QA.
The event, held in Brussels and hosted by the Flemish Higher Education Council – Quality Assurance (VLUHR QA) and the Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (AEQES), brought together representatives from quality assurance agencies across Europe and beyond.
Over the three days, discussions focused on key topics such as the revision of the European Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance (ESG), the role of quality assurance in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), and emerging challenges related to artificial intelligence and stakeholder engagement in evaluation processes.
The meeting also highlighted the importance of inter-agency cooperation and ENQA’s role as a platform for dialogue, innovation and exchange of good practices.
