Aquib - New evaluation criteria for the accreditation of university teaching staff

New evaluation criteria for the accreditation of university teaching staff

We at AQUIB have published the new evaluation Criteria document for the accreditation of tenured and senior teaching staff a key step towards a more transparent, contextualised and internationally aligned evaluation system.

This document, developed within the framework of the new Organic Law of the University System (LOSU), outlines the principles and criteria we will apply from now on in assessing research, teaching and knowledge transfer merits for accreditation processes.

The new criteria adopt a broader and more inclusive perspective on academic careers. They acknowledge the diversity of academic profiles, promote a better balance between teaching and research, and incorporate qualitative and narrative merit assessment in line with the DORA and COARA principles.
